SPECIALISATIONS

Underpinning all of my work are the philosophies and practices of Person-Centred Therapy. You will be empathically and gently guided to find and explore your own experiences, and take the reins in both your sessions and your life. You will be supported with a deep sense of understanding, respect, and care.

Therapy

Focusing-Oriented Therapy is a somatic (body-oriented) experience of deep awareness, healing, connection, and growth. You will be facilitated in engaging with your body’s felt sense, and eventually learn to be guided by your own inner knowing to move towards authentic living.
Focusing-Oriented Therapy

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy is well-received by those who prefer more structured and directive approaches. This may include challenging your thoughts, and engaging with take-home tasks to practice creating fundamental changes in your behaviours or ways of thinking.
Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy aims to promote living a rich and meaningful life through mindful actions, living in accordance with personal values, and psychological flexibility. This may encompass activities both within and outside of the session, and take-home tasks.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Spanning several approaches and styles, systems therapy can be focused on the external systems in your life and their impact on you; family, friends, or co-workers. When looking at internal systems, you will be supported in exploring the parts that comprise you; their functions, intentions, characteristics, and dominance.
Systems Therapies

Parts-Work comprises one of the major aspects or philosophies of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. This approach assumes multiple parts within us all, each with their own roles within the system of you. Parts-Work aims to explore those parts, and release them of their extreme roles.
